RCMP arrested a 26-year-old man from Cocagne in connection to a slew of reports that Canada Post community mailboxes had been damaged and stolen from.
The Southeast District Crime Reduction Unit started an investigation in early February after over 50 incidents spread across 16 communities.
Police executed a search warrant for a residence and vehicle in Cocagne, where they found stolen mail and other related items.
The man has been released but is set to appear in court on July 16.
