Fire Destroys Riverside-Albert Home

A family of five is temporarily homeless after a weekend fire destroyed their home and belongings in Riverside-Albert.

The fire on Forestdale Road was reported at around 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon.

The couple and their three school-age children are staying with relatives for now.

Canadian Red Cross volunteers have assisted with emergency purchases like food, winter clothing and other basic needs.

No one was hurt.
