UPDATE: 19-Year-Old Killed In Hit And Run On Elmwood Drive

RCMP have ruled the death of a 19-year-old Moncton man a homicide.

An RCMP investigation began after reports of a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian in a parking lot on Elmwood Drive around 4 a.m. on Friday Morning.

The man died at the scene as a result of his injuries. An investigation team has since discovered the driver struck the pedestrian on purpose.

The parking lot is where a former Nightclub was located.

RCMP ask that anyone with information on the incident contact the Major Crime Unit at 506-857-2400.
