Riverview Winter Carnival Kicks Off February 5th

The Town of Riverview’s annual winter carnival tradition is going ahead, despite the pandemic.

Community Recreation Coordinator Ash Arrowsmith says planning was a challenge and they will have fewer event, but they will be closely following public health guidelines.

One of the key events for the ten day carnival is the snow sculpture challenge.

The Riverview winter carnival has been held in the community since 1975.

It kicks off on February 5th.

Participants are invited to help support the Albert County Food Bank by donating a non-perishable food item by dropping it off by Feb. 16 at the Town of Riverview Parks and Recreation Office.
