The RCMP has now assumed the lead role in the search for the missing fishermen from the Chief Williams Saulis fishing vessel in the Bay of Fundy, off the coast of Digby, Nova Scotia
They will continue a ground search across a 55 km stretch of shoreline during daylight hours.
Our thoughts and sincere condolences go out to the families, friends, and community of these men. The case will now be turned over to the RCMP as a missing persons case.

Searchers will continue to look for items, such as life jackets, survival kits, survival suits, emergency beacons and human remains.
There were six men aboard the scallop dragger when an emergency signal was received on Tuesday morning.
The body of one fisher was recovered the same night.
Search efforts by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre lasted more than 36 hours, in the air, by sea and and along the coastline.
