Two People Arrested After Drugs Seized In Moncton

A man and a woman have been arrested after drugs were seized from three addresses in Moncton.

RCMP searched a home on Université Avenue and two residences on Dominion Street on November 28.

Items seized by police include what is believed to be cocaine, Hydromophone pills, marijuana, contraband cigarettes, cash, drug paraphernalia and several cell phones.

A 40-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, who are both from Moncton, were arrested.

The man is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear in Court on December 1..

The woman was released on conditions pending a court appearance at a later date.

Anyone who suspects, illegal drug activity in their neighbourhood is asked to contact their local police.
