New name for Moncton’s 4-Ice Centre

A new community partnership will mean a new Moncton 4 Ice Complex name.

It will now be known as Greenfoot Energy 4-Plex.

Moncton 4Ice Sports Inc., Nustadia Recreation Inc. and the City of Moncton revealed the new partnership on Wednesday.

“We have worked with Greenfoot Energy Solutions over the past few months and came up with a partnership that highlights their community focus,” says Nick Frizzell, general manager at the 4 Ice facility.

The facility was previously known as the Superior Propane Centre from 2015 to 2024.

Greenfoot Energy Solutions was founded in 2014. It has grown to include over 775 team members and locations across Atlantic Canada. Plans for the future include expansion across the country and the United States.
