MFD Fights Fire Involving Old Cars And Tires

A lot of smoke was reported from a fire on Route 126 in Indian Mountain on Wednesday morning,

Moncton Fire Platoon Chief Brian McDonald says they were called out at around 5 am.

Upon arrival, they found a large pile of garbage on fire in a field, that included old cars, and tires.

Dieppe Fire was called in to help with the water supply.

Around eight firefighters helped to keep the fire contained to one area, and quickly extinguished it.

They were on the scene for around two hours.

A cause is currently under investigation.
