More information needed after fatal crash near Hay Settlement

RCMP are seeking the public’s help after a fatal crash on Highway 2 near Woodstock.

It’s believed that at around 1:30 a.m. on September 26, the driver of an eastbound vehicle lost control and went into the ditch near Hay Settlement.

A 45-year-old man from Sussex died at the scene, and a 43-year-old man, who was also from Sussex, was taken to hospital where he later died.

RCMP now have reason to think that a third person may have been In the vehicle at the time of the crash, but they have not yet been identified.
