A community that lost its Sports Centre to fire late last year, is in the running to become the next Kraft Hockeyille.
Tyne Valley, PEI was recognized as a finalist yesterday.
PEI Premier Dennis King says this is cause for celebration after what the community has been through in recent months.
Voting will be done on August 14 and 15th. The community with the most votes will win an NHL game and $250,000, and will become the Kraft Hockeyville for 2020.
There are three other communities in the running, Pense, Saskatchewan, Twillingate, Newfoundland, and Saint-Felicien, Quebec.
Visit the Kraft Hockeyville site to find out how to vote.
The winner will be announced on August 15th.
