Village of Memramcook pays tribute to Mi’kmaq

A flag has been raised in the Village of Memramcook in honour of the Mi’kmaq people.

This comes ahead of National Day of Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th.

A ceremony was held this week, led by Tulley Paul, Elder of the Metepenagiag First Nation, with the participation of the Amlamgog First Nation (Fort Folly First Nation).

It paid tribute to tribute to Indigenous peoples and their rich culture.
