Provincial candidates invited to address City and Town Councils

New Brunswickers are currently scheduled to head to the polls on October 21.

A special Moncton City Council meeting will introduce provincial party leaders and candidates to area residents.

They have been invited on September 11 to discuss their priorities.

The meeting will be held at the Avenir Centre and live-streamed on YouTube starting at 6 pm.

The City focuses on four key areas: municipal fiscal reform, housing, social issues and community safety.

Riverview Town Council will also hold a special meeting on September 16 at Town Hall.

Local provincial candidates for Riverview and Riverview-Albert have been invited to attend.

Topics will include housing, fiscal reform, public safety and social issues.

That meeting will be held in Town Council Chambers in Riverview, also be live-streamed on the Town of Riverview website.
