National Parks in NB To Remain Closed For May Long Weekend

If you were planning a visit to Fundy or Kouchibouguac National Parks for the long weekend, you are out of luck.

Parks Canada says visitor services and vehicle access continue to be suspended at all national parks, and historic sites.

All services and facilities such as washrooms, playgrounds, beaches, recreational fishing, the golf course at Fundy National Park, parking lots, picnic shelters, and trails remain closed. All events, group and interpretive activities remain suspended until further notice. All backcountry and front-country camping is prohibited until at least June 21, 2020.

Route 114 through Fundy Park and Route 117 through Kouchibouguac Park remain open for through traffic only.

All suspensions of national visitor services and facilities will remain in effect until June 1st.
