Drug Seizure At Dorchester Penitentiary

Three packages of drugs were seized by Correctional Service Canada officials this week.

Officials says they were found at Dorchester Penitentiary on Tuesday.

The packages contained over 80 grams of hash with a value of over $64, 000.

The Correctional Service of Canada uses a number of tools to prevent drugs from entering its institutions. These tools include ion scanners and drug-detector dogs to search buildings, personal property, inmates and visitors.
