UPDATE: Passenger On Flight That Landed In Greater Moncton Diagnosed With COVID-19

A passenger onboard a flight that arrived at the Greater Moncton International Airport last week has tested positive for COVID-19.

Government Spokesperson Bruce MacFarlane says they received the notification through the Public Heath Agency of Canada.

It revealed the individual was a passenger on Westjet flight 3456 from Toronto on April 27th, at 1:52 in the afternoon.

Anyone who was on the flight, is being asked to self isolate for 14 days and call 811 if you develop symptoms.

Public Health has determined the person was not tested in New Brunswick but they are still looking into whether they are currently in or outside the province.
