If your snow shovel has been put away, our best advice is to dig it out again.
You’ll need it later on tonight and again tomorrow.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for New Brunswick.
Meteorologist Mel Lemmon says it’ll start this evening as rain, and bring a messy mix of precipitation, “Probably looking at around 15 centimetres of snow with this system, possibly a little bit more. Then it is going to change back to rain again for a portion tomorrow, then briefly back to snow again later in the day tomorrow.”
Lemmon says it’s not unusual to see snow in April, but he expects this will be the last of the snowstorms this season.
“There could be areas further north, that could see 20 centimetres, and then further north, up to 25 centimetres,” Lemmon says.
Areas along the Fundy Coast, and Acadian Coastline are also under storm surge warnings.
