An assault at the Atlantic Institution in Renous.
Correctional Service Canada says an inmate was hurt on Sunday at the maximum security federal institution.
Staff evaluated the inmate but then took him to an outside hospital to receive treatment.
CSC says a suspect has been identified and appropriate actions taken.
The incident is still under investigation.
