UPDATE: Visitor Restrictions In Place At Hospitals Across NB

Vitalite Health Network is amending its visitor policies across the province.

A complete ban on patient visits at all facilities, with the exception of the Palliative Care, Obstetric and Pediatric units.

For those units only one family member or care partner will be permitted to visit.

These new measures were put into place to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The Network is also reminding the public to avoid going to the emergency room if you have COVID-19 like symptoms.

Meantime, Horizon Health Network has implemented similar policies as of March 16.

All patient visit are now restricted, with exceptions in Palliative Care, Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, Obstetric and Pediatric units.

One designated person is permitted to visit in those units.

All patient visits are restricted within Horizon facilities.

Anyone who has travelled outside of Canada is restricted from visiting patients for 14 days following their return..
