Two Shows At Moncton Coliseum Cancelled Over COVID-19 Concerns

Two shows planned for Greater Moncton have been postponed as a result of COVID-19.

The Moncton RV Show was scheduled to run March 12 to 15th at the Moncton Coliseum.

A news release issued by Master Promotion states, “In its latest update, the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health of New Brunswick has recommended that any non-essential mass gathering of 150 or more people be cancelled or postponed until they are able to better determine the risk to our population. In its latest update, , the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health of New Brunswick has recommended that any non-essential mass gathering of 150 or more people be cancelled or postponed until they are able to better determine the risk to our population. For this reason, we have decided to postpone the Moncton RV Show.”

They add that the decision was not taken lightly, but the health and safety of the exhibitors, and those visiting the show are a top priority.

Their hope is that once the all clear has been received from the province of New Brunswick and the regional health authority, they will look at rescheduling.

The Greater Moncton Home Show which was scheduled to run March 20th to 22nd, also at the Moncton Coliseum, has also cancelled

“The Home Show team feels it is the right decision for not only for the safety of the attending public, but the exhibitors, their employees, the venue staff and the Greater Moncton Homebuilders’ team.”
