Miramichi man arrested for attempted armed robbery

A 48-year-old Miramichi man is facing charges in connection with an attempted robbery in Doyles Brook.

RCMP say last Thursday, a masked man with a weapon entered a business on Highway 118.

He then fled on foot empty-handed.

The following day, police requested information from the public and a man was identified and arrested.

Charges of attempted robbery have been laid.
