Wine Expo Returns After Two Year Pandemic Hiatus

Wine lovers are ready for a grand tasting.

The Wine Expo returns this year, after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.

It’s the 32nd Expo, which offers over 300 different wines for tasting.

Tickets went on sale on October 1st, with seminars planned from October 30 to November 3rd.

Grand tastings are scheduled for November 4th and 5th.

The Wine Expo is Canada’s second oldest wine festival, and the only one to return so far in Atlantic Canada, after the pandemic.

With no other similar events taking place since early 2020, organizers expect heightened interest from PEI, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Expo Chairman Bill Vance expects it could be one of the most successful years ever.

Historically, many events have sold out on the first day of ticket sales.
