First Ever PEI Houseguest On Big Brother Canada

Prince Edward Island has its first ever houseguest on Big Brother Canada.

26 year old Vanessa Clements is also the only one from Atlantic Canada who will appear this season.

“I’m from Mill River, Prince Edward Island and I am a lobster fisherman. Fishing lobster is definitely a male dominated industry. I love proving to men that woman can do it, and do it better,” Clements says.

Clements says as a fisherman, she doesn’t think people will view her as a mastermind manipulator. She plans to use that to her advantage, by gaining trust from the others.

“I’m super proud to say I am this first Islander to play Big Brother Canada. PEI, I am your girl, I am not going to let you down. You best believe that I am going to bring the win home to the Island,” Clements says.

Big Brother Canada sees sixteen houseguests living in a home under constant video surveillance.

They have no communication with the outside world, and no access to the Internet or phones.

One contestant is voted out each week.

Season 8 of Big Brother Canada debuts on Wednesday night on Global.
