There will be a partial resumption of service on Canada’s railways this week.
VIA Rail has received notification from CN Rail. On Thursday, they will begin running trains between Quebec City and Ottawa.
The passenger rail company will be reaching out to customers directly.
To date, 470 trains have been cancelled as a result of the anti-pipeline blockades. VIA Rail says more than 94 thousand passengers have been affected.
