Charges Laid After Drug Distribution Network Dismantled

Five people have been arrested after police dismantled a drug distribution network in Quebec, New Brunswick and Ontario.

Four men, including one from New Brunswick and a woman were arrested yesterday.

They are facing charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and conspiracy.

Provincial Police from Quebec worked with RCMP and Ontario Provincial Police.

Searches took place in October last year.

Items seized include more than 37 kilograms of hash, 13 kilograms of cocaine, nine pounds of cannabis and more than $184,000 cash.
