Oromocto Man Charged In Car Crash

A 33-year-old Oromocto man is facing several charges in connection with a single vehicle crash in Fredericton.

Jeffrey Jacob Sacobie will appear in court this morning, facing charges of impaired driving causing bodily harm, and driving while prohibited.

Fredericton Police say last Friday morning, a 32 year old woman suffered critical injuries in a collision on Lincoln Road.

She remains in serious, but stable condition.

Police say the driver had been banned from driving for four years at the time of the collision, and had seven previous convictions for impaired driving.
