Moncton City Council going online during renovations in chambers

If you like to keep up with Moncton City Council, you’ll want to take note of a few changes for the summer.

Council chambers are undergoing audio-visual renovations this summer and will be closed until the end of September.

Not to worry though, public meetings will still be going ahead. July’s meeting will be held off-site at the Avenir Centre. The remainder during the closure will be live-streamed.

Public meetings can be viewed on the City’s YouTube channel during the renovations.

Here’s a full list of meetings:

  • July 15 – Regular Council Meeting – Avenir Centre, Lounsbury Lounge
  • July 22 – Committee of the Whole – virtual meeting
  • Aug. 19 – Regular Council Meeting – virtual meeting
  • Aug. 22 – Committee of the Whole – virtual meeting
  • Sept. 3 – Regular Council Meeting – virtual meeting
  • Sept. 16 – Regular Council Meeting – virtual meeting
  • Sept. 23 – Committee of the Whole – virtual meeting
