High Winds Cause Power Outages Across NB

High winds have left thousands of NB Power customers in the dark.

The hardest hit areas this morning, according to the power utility, are in the Kennebecasis Valley, Fundy, Norththumberland and Miramichi regions..

Other areas affected include Greater Moncton, Shediac, and Kent County.

We remain under a wind warning for this region.

Environment Canada is calling for wind gusts as high as 110 kilometres an hour for Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick, especially in the Tantramar Marsh area.
