Fake Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation At Moncton Hotel

A prank bomb threat forced the evacuation of a Moncton Hotel and restaurant on Halloween.

Codiac RCMP received reports of the call at around 10:30 last night.

Officer blocked a section of Main Street by the Mariott Hotel.

Sergeant Stefan Pare-Lemire says after a further investigation, it turned out to be a very intoxicated male who made the call.

Guests were allowed to return to the building once officers cleared the scene.
