Calling all collectors, Capitol Theatre in Moncton is giving away a piece of its history.
It is undergoing renovations with brand-new seats being installed.
The old ones are being given away.
Pickups must be done at the loading dock before 2 o’clock on Monday, June 10 or between 10 and 2 pm on Tuesday, June 11.
Seats come in bundles of 4 or more and are attached.
This is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Renovations are ongoing for 13 weeks to make upgrades including seating, floors, painting, electrical and installation of a new stage.
Around $1 million is being spent with funding coming from federal and provincial governments.
