Motherhood Maternity To Close After Parent Company Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Another store on Plaza Boulevard is closing its doors.

Destination Maternity, which is the parent company for Motherhood Maternity, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and will close hundreds of its stores in Canada and the United States.

There are 13 Canadian Motherhood Maternity stores on the list to close, including one in Moncton.

There’s no word on a closing date.

This comes after the recent announcement that the Paderno Factory Store at 35 Plaza Boulevard, which is right next door, will close on November 3rd.
