Conservative Candidate Vows To Remain In Politics

Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe Conservative candidate Sylvie Godin-Charest was all smiles despite a loss to the Liberals.

She thanked her team members and supporters who gathered at her headquarters.

“Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for me, it’s unbelievable and the passion in each of you gave me a lot of strength and it’s a journey that I could rewind and do it all over again. It was the best experience of my life,” she says.

Godin-Charest says she still has a lot to give and isn’t planning giving up politics just yet.

“But politics is not over, it’s a passion of mine, I truly believe I can make a difference and just because I didn’t win doesn’t mean I can’t make a different in another way. So I have a lot to give,” says Godin-Charest.

Godin-Charest says she enjoyed every minute of campaigning with her team, which she now considers family.
