The Halifax Mooseheads sent defenseman Dylan MacKinnon and forward Markus Vidicek to the Moncton Wildcats.
The Moose get back forward Shawn Carrier and a number of draft picks.
The first round of the draft is being held at Avenir Centre in Moncton on Friday.
The Cape Breton Eagles hold the first overall pick.
