Symbiose Asking For Volunteers To Assist With Safety During Climate Action March

Organizers of a climate action march planned for Moncton, are looking for volunteers to help with road safety.

Symbiose is looking for 20 volunteers who will help form a perimeter around the crowd walking from the Avenir Centre to Moncton City Hall.

The organization is asking that anyone wanting to help, should sign up, and be at the Avenir Centre by 11:30am tomorrow morning.

The march will begin at noon and is expected to attract over 600 people.

Protests and strikes are being held worldwide to demand better measures against climate change from all levels of government.

RCMP officers will also be on hand, to ensure it is a peaceful demonstration.
