Hannah Leblanc is a grade 8 student at Hillcrest. She says, “We need to raise awareness so people know we are done talking about the issue and we are ready to start acting on it. We are digging up too many fossil fuels and cutting down the trees when we need them the most.”
“It’s scary because we are 13 years old and we have to think about these deep issues and we are the ones who need to do something about it,” says Annabelle, a grade 8 Hillcrest student.
Hanna Gallagher, who is also in grade 8 added, “The levels of air pollution keep rising even though everyone knows the solutions. It is time for us all to start acting and change the situation.”
