Tenth anniversary of tragic RCMP shootings on June 4

A small intimate gathering will be held on the tenth anniversary of the tragic RCMP shootings in Moncton.

RCMP Staff Sergeant Matthew White says it will be held at the memorial statues along the Riverfront Trail on June 4.

Constables Doug Larche, Dave Ross and Fabrice Gevauden were tragically shot and killed in 2014.

Two other officers, Constables Eric Dubois and Darlene Goguen were both injured in the incident.

RCMP, along with the officers’ family and friends, have planned the event that’ll be held at 4:30 pm.

It was a day that forever changed the community of Greater Moncton.
