A Fredericton park may become a site honouring all New Brunswick first responders.
The park already features monuments for fallen NB officers and another for Fredericton firefighters.
NB Fallen Officer Memorial president Victoria Wright says they were approached by Ambulance NB.
“They are presently working with the province to have a provincial memorial put there as well. So it stemmed from the idea of them being there too that we could make it into a park honouring all first responders in the province,” Wright says.
She says the project is in early stages of development and isn’t sure exactly what that will look like.
Wright says they will also be making a few changes to the fallen officers memorial structure.
