RCMP have discovered human remains in Noonan, just outside Fredericton.
The Major Crime Unit found the remains on August 10th in a wooded area just off Route 10, after receiving information from the public.
The investigation has determined the remains belong to a man and he was a homicide victim.
Efforts are underway to confirm his identity.
RCMP cannot confirm how long that process will take.
