Breathe Yoga Fest A Big Success

Hundreds endured the heat this past weekend, to strike a pose.

The third annual Breathe Yoga Fest attracted up to a thousand people on Saturday.

Organizer and Co-Founder Cathy Manuel says they are debunking the stereotypes surrounding this activity, “You don’t have to be a certain age, size or gender in order to do yoga. You don’t have to be flexible or be able to touch your toes in order to participate in something that is going to be able to provide wellness to your mind, body and spirit.”

The event raise over $900 for Moncton’s Youth Impact.

Planning is already underway for next year’s Breathe Yoga fest, “Every year, we try and make it bigger and better. That is the hope for next year as well,” Manuel says
