Survey Finds Shopping Early For Back-To-School Items Less Stressful

The kids probably aren’t thinking about September just yet, but the parents probably are.

A recent poll shows back to school shopping can be stressful and cause anxiety for some adults, if they wait until the last minute.

A survey by Ebates.ca found that 91 per cent of Canadian parents said getting the shopping done early, makes for much more relaxed back to school season.

More than three quarters of those asked shop actually do shop early.

When it comes to spending, 67 percent fork out an average of $168.

More than half do their shopping online, with many who said that is the best way to find the good deals.

94 per cent involve their kids in the shopping process, allowing them to pick out specific items.
