Riverview Animal Hospital has confirmed an investigation is underway by the New Brunswick SPCA into the alleged abuse of a dog at a grooming business.
A video began circulating on social media late last week, that shows a groomer who appears to be mistreating a dog.
On Sunday, in a post on Facebook, the Animal Hospital stated they were shocked by the alleged incidents and also said they are in no way affiliated with the grooming business.
In an updated post yesterday, the Hospital confirmed the grooming business is no longer operating out of their building.
There is no word on who took the video.
