There were no reports of damage after a 3.7-magnitude earthquake near Petit-Rocher.
Earthquakes Canada says it hit shortly before 10 a.m. Monday.
It was lightly felt in Gloucester and Restigouche counties.
A 3.4-magnitude aftershock shook the area at around 12:45 p.m. Monday.
