UPDATE: Four Hurt In Fire In Moncton’s West End

The cause of a fire at a home located at the corner of Enterprise Street and Broadview Avenue is under investigation.

Platoon Chief Paul Bruens says they arrived on scene at the four unit, two storey structure at around 5am Wednesday morning.

Heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming from the roof area of the building.

The tenants were evacuating as firefighters arrived.

Bruens says four people were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

A family member says they suffered burns and from smoke inhalation.

The 17 firefighters on scene had the blaze under control by around 6am.

Bruens says there is extensive damage to the home in Moncton’s west end.
