U De M Tuition Fees To Rise

Students are going to have to pay more to attend Universite de Moncton next year.

Tuition fees are going up.

Students enrolled full time in an undergraduate program will see fees rise by two per cent. All other students will see fees go up by eight per cent.

Students in the Bachelor of Nursing program will also have to pay additional program fees of $500, to help pay for their clinical training.

The Board of Governors released a deficit budget for 2019-2020…of just over one million dollars.

Students are going to have to pay more to attend Universite de Moncton next year.

Interim President and Vice Chancellor Jacques Paul Couturier says, “To make up for this provincial funding cut, Université de Moncton management has had to increase its tuition fees, in addition to presenting a shortfall that has dramatically increased.”
