The Ronald McDonald House Charities Atlantic is is having their third annual PJ Walk for Kids tomorrow morning.
The walk is being held in 5 cities in the Maritimes.
Lisday Mitton is the event’s co-chair says the pledge-based fundraiser helps many New Brunswick families.
“Last year we had 1,267 families coming from New Brunswick with over 2000 families in total visiting. So well over half are from New Brunswick,” says Mitton.
She says there will be a number of fun activities :
– Enjoy a Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Riverview Lions Club
– Hear from a local family who has stayed at Ronald McDonald House or visited one of our Ronald McDonald Family Rooms
– Walk in your PJs and enjoy en-route entertainment
– Celebrate with fun activities and refreshments for the entire family
– Capture memories from the day at the photo booth
– Visit the Teddy Bear Clinic
You can register as an individual for $15 or a family for $20.
Once you register, you can also form a team if you have multiple individuals or families wanting to raise funds together.
