Storm Forces Postponement of Moncton Wildcats Home Opener

The home opener for the Moncton Wildcats scheduled for Sunday, September 25th has been postponed due to Hurricane Fiona.

The team was supposed to take on Cape Breton at the Avenir centre.

The home opener will now be played on Sunday, October 2nd at 4 pm instead against Acadie-Bathurst.

The Wildcats were also supposed to play in Cape Breton on Friday, September 23rd.

That game has also been called off, to ensure the safety of players, staff, fans and officials.
