RCMP Investigate Armed Robbery In Moncton

No arrests yet in an armed robbery in Moncton.

Late Sunday morning, Police cordoned off an area around a Needs Convenience at 1036 Mountain Road.

A woman reportedly entered the store at around 11am, and demanded money and cigarettes from an employee, then fled before police arrived.

The woman is described as 5’5, with a skinny build. She is thought to be in her twenties or early thirties. She was carrying a light colored bag with pictures of owls on it and had rings on her left hand. The suspect was wearing blue jeans and black jacket with fur around the hood.
