Funny money is making the rounds in Shediac and the RCMP are warning business owners to check over any US $100 bill being passed to them.

The counterfeit currency was used twice in the last week (Friday and on Monday).
In some cases, purchases were made where the fake bills were exchanged for Canadian money.
Southeast RCMP is reminding business owners and their staff in Shediac to carefully examine and verify the currency passed to them and report bills they consider suspicious.
