Input sought from Dieppe residents for strategic plan updates

Dieppe residents are being invited to share their views to help develop a future vision for the city.

Officials are updating the strategic plan.

“With our population increasing by over 10 per cent since 2021, we want to make sure we can properly meet the needs and expectations of our residents,” said Mayor Yvon Lapierre.

“Dieppe’s 2025-2029 strategic plan will provide direction to City Council and guide projects and the work of City staff over the next five years. It will be developed with input from community partners and the general public and is a unique opportunity for the municipality and residents to engage in a collective discussion and reflection.”

Residents are invited to an open house that will take place at City Hall (333 Acadie Avenue) on Tuesday, April 9, between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. to develop a vision for the future of Dieppe.

They can share their feelings on the strengths and challenges of the community, and make suggestions for improvements.

An online survey will also be available starting the week of April 15.
