Today is April 30th so don’t forget to file your 2018 taxes by the deadline at midnight.
The Canada Revenue Agency says even if you owe money but can’t pay you should still file by tonight.
By not doing so, CRA says other federal payments such as the Canada Child Benefit and HST Rebate could be delayed or stopped.
If you are having problems with tax debt, CRA urges you to contact them to make payment arrangements.
Those who are self-employed have until June 15th to file but they must file by midnight if money is owing.
CRA says 90 percent of Canadians now file their taxes online.
