One Less Candidate In NB Liberal Leadership Race

A new leader for the New Brunswick Liberal party will be chosen in June, but the race is now down a candidate.

Rene Ephestion posted on his Facebook yesterday that he is no longer a candidate.

He says in the last five months, he has had the chance to meet some great people and he also wished good luck to Kevin Vickers, who announced on March 15th his desire to run for the leadership.

The deadline to submit an application was March 29th.

The new leader will chosen on June 21 and 22nd, in Saint John.

The interim leader for the party is Denis Landry.
